Thermal Grizzly introduces the Thermal Putty product line, specifically developed for modifying graphics cards and replacing thermal pads between the PCB and the cooler. However, the Thermal Putty can also be used in other applications, including notebooks, gaming consoles, handheld devices, and audio products.

The product line includes three versions, primarily differentiated by their thermal conductivity:
• Putty Basic: Moderate thermal conductivity
• Putty Advance: Good thermal conductivity
• Putty Pro: Excellent thermal conductivity

Thermal Putty is a non-electrically conductive alternative to traditional thermal pads and is easy to apply. As a flexible gap filler, it compensates for height differences, making it ideal as a replacement for thermal pads on graphics cards. Typically, out of the factory graphics cards use thermal pads in two or three different heights, so when renewing the pads or switching to a GPU water cooler, multiple pads of different sizes would be required. Thermal Putty, however, can bridge height differences ranging from 0.2 to 3.0 mm. 

Thermal Putty is applied either with the included spatulas or by hand (gloves are recommended). The spatula enables broad application across surfaces. Alternatively, the Thermal Putty can be shaped by hand into small balls, sized to fit the target area (e.g., VRAM, SMD).

Before application, the target surface should be thoroughly cleaned and degreased, for instance, with TG Cleaning Wipes or commercially available isopropanol.
