Terms of service
Article 1 (General Provisions)
TechAce.jp (hereafter referred to as "this site") is operated and managed by Servgate Corporation ("our company"). Customers ("the customer") who use this site agree to the following terms. These terms apply to all customers purchasing products through this site. By using this site, the customer agrees to these terms.
Article 2 (Amendments to the Terms)
Our company may change these terms without prior notice. Any changes will be promptly posted on this site.
Article 3 (Posting of Sales Information)
We may change product information, fees, and availability at any time. Inventory and delivery details may differ from what is listed, and we are not liable for discrepancies.
Article 4 (Orders)
Orders can be placed via website, email, or fax. Order confirmation does not equal contract formation. False names and third-party names are not permitted.
Article 5 (Confirmation of Purchase Intent)
Purchase intent is confirmed upon order acceptance. Orders cannot be changed or canceled thereafter, except under specific payment conditions.
Article 6 (Inventory Allocation)
Inventory is allocated only after purchase intent confirmation. Orders may be canceled if items are unavailable.
Article 7 (Order Modification by Our Company)
If products are unavailable or discontinued, we may propose changes. If the customer agrees, we will modify the order and adjust pricing accordingly.
Article 8 (Order Cancellation)
Customers may cancel orders before purchase intent is confirmed, by contacting us with the order number.
Article 9 (Invalid Orders)
Orders may be invalidated for various reasons, including unavailable stock, communication issues, incorrect order information, or policy violations.
Article 10 (Delivery Date)
We notify estimated shipping dates, which may change. We are not liable for any resulting damages.
Article 11 (Shipping)
Designated couriers deliver the products. We are not responsible for delivery delays. Customers cannot refuse delivery. Reshipping fees apply for returned items.
Article 12 (Sales Contract)
A sales contract is formed when shipping is completed, regardless of email receipt confirmation.
Article 13 (Transfer of Ownership)
Ownership transfers to the customer upon full payment and receipt of the product.
Article 14 (Cooling-Off Not Applicable)
The cooling-off period does not apply as this is online commerce under Japanese law.
Article 15 (Initial Defects)
We respond to manufacturer-verified defects within warranty terms. Claims must be made within 7 days of delivery.
Article 16 (Warranty)
We provide warranty service within the manufacturer’s warranty period and instructions.
Article 17 (Returns)
Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery for unopened/unused items. Shipping and handling fees apply.
Article 18 (Exchanges)
Exchanges for same or higher value products are accepted within 7 days for unopened/unused items. Fees may apply.
Article 19 (Refunds)
Refunds are issued if overpayment occurs due to order changes or cancellations. Specific conditions and methods apply.
Article 20 (Handling of Personal Information)
Customer information is handled per our privacy policy and may be used for service improvement and communications. Opt-out is available.
Article 21 (Prohibited Acts)
Prohibited actions include law violations, harming others, inputting false info, system disruption, and credential sharing.
Article 22 (Compensation for Damages)
We may claim damages for repeat cancellations, unauthorized actions, or harm to our operations.
Article 23 (Service Suspension)
We may suspend services without notice for maintenance or operational reasons and are not liable for resulting damages.
Article 24 (Disclaimer)
We are not liable for damages from system failures, product issues, or data inaccuracies. Customers must resolve third-party claims themselves.
Article 25 (Service Changes or Termination)
We may change or discontinue services at any time without notice.
Article 26 (Governing Law)
These terms are governed by Japanese law.
Article 27 (Jurisdiction)
Nagoya District Court shall be the court of first instance for any disputes related to these terms.
