The Adaptec RAID 7805Q is a high-performance SAS/SATA RAID controller card powered by the PMC 7805Q chipset. Delivering up to 6Gb/s throughput per port, it provides reliable and efficient storage performance for a wide range of server environments, including file servers, virtualization platforms, and backup systems.

The third-generation PMC Zero-Maintenance Cache Protection (ZMCP) technology safeguards cached data using flash-based protection in the event of a power loss. With no battery required, ZMCP reduces maintenance, monitoring, disposal, and replacement costs compared to traditional cache protection solutions.

For management and monitoring, the controller includes the Adaptec maxView web-based interface and supports SNIA SMI-S (CTP) and VMware CIM integration, allowing efficient remote configuration and system oversight. Powered by Adaptec RAID Code (ARC), the 7805Q supports RAID levels 0, 1, 1E, 5, 6, 10, 50, and 60, delivering robust data protection and reliability.
